Abstract
In the novel “Masons”, A. Pisemsky analyzed the interpretation of the main plot of “Eugene Onegin” by А. Pushkin. The type of Tatiana Larina, “an ideal lady” has been found to be similar to the life lines of the sisters Ryzhov. Like Tatiana, Lyudmila “creates” an ideal beloved, while Susanna strives to follow the most basic commandment of Pushkin’s heroine: to believe in the sacred bond of marriage and to be faithful to her husband heroically. These “labyrinths of linkages” demonstrate a lovable ideal of Tatiana to be firmly fixed in the society of the first half of 19th century. Pisemsky argued against complying with this ideal, since the imitation of “an ideal lady” makes people ruin their lives. It is shown that the writer expressed this point of view by using reminiscences to other literary works, and supported it by presenting the so-called ideal people - masons.

Abstract
The article touches upon a poorly explored issue of metamorphoses in Brodsky’s works in the view of a statuary myth. Having highlighted the main concept of a metamorphosis, having reviewed Brodsky’s articles and essays as well as works of literary criticism, we define 3 types of transformations connected with an image of a statue. Starting with the analysis of intertextual metamorphoses (the revival of a statue), proceeding with analyzing an image of a statue - an embodiment of the poet’s ideas on human transformations (petrification regarded as a movement to non-existence and eternity at the same time), we advert to a motif of a monument and its transformations in Brodsky’s works.

Abstract
The article focuses on the interpretation of Nina Sadur’s novel “Miraculous Signs of Salvation”. The author of the article compares two levels of narration (real-life and imaginary) and attempts to discover the plot. The thorough analysis reveals the theme of obscure and truthful worldview in the novel: Nina Sadur explores a human view of reality, which determines his inner and outer existence. The ‘direct’ view presupposes only the visible, outward understanding whereas the ‘inverted’ one allows her to see the hidden. Both approaches lack integrity and lead to the distortion of the worldview. Only the third option gives us an opportunity to see true reality.

Abstract
The issue of symbolist poet Jurgis Baltrushaitis’s own worldview is the subject of the article. Silver Age legacy is very rich in innovative approaches in the philosophical and artistic-aesthetic perception of the world and a man. However, Jurgis Baltrushaitis’s personal view was not reflected in theoretical works. The opinion that the Baltrushaitis created a philosophical model of “three worlds”, with its central idea of spiritual-and-ethic improvement of a man, is justified by means of analysis of poetry books “Earthly Steps”, “Mountain Trail” and “Lily and Sickle”.
