Abstract
The article is devoted to the diversity of the ways of the representation of the syntactic time in the rhetorical expressions, that are specific syntax constructions that have an interrogative form, a complex of pronominal and particular formants, a specific intonation and a complicated semantics. Syntactic time in different models can be represented by morphological means, constructive and syntactical means, intonation and syntactical means. In the rhetorical expression temporal verbal forms are often used in the figurative meaning. The study of the category of temporality of the rhetorical expressions allows to suggest that they are characterized by the generalized meaning of syntactic time.

Abstract
The article deals with the use of proper name in the hagiographies. The proper names are analyzed through the prism of hagiographie concept "Holly/ Holiness”. The author presented the classification of hagionyms, proper names of holiness, and analyzed the functionality of such words in the hagiographic sphere of concepts. The author establishes the specific of nominative formulas of proper names of holiness, analyzes functions of different proper names in sphere of hagiography, determines semantic relations to common noun.

Abstract
The article presents the analysis of functioning of word combinations with steady book attribute in monuments of business writing of 17th century. Having analysed the given steady combinations, the author distinguishes two lexical and semantic groups of phrases with such an attribute: terminological and non-terminological (evaluative, similar in formation to folk constant epithets). As sources the author used written texts presented in the book «Monuments of business writing of 17th century: Vladimir Region. Texts» ed. S. Kotkov.

Abstract
It is impossible to call an adverb completely unchangeable part of speech. It is proved by existence of degrees of comparison (at formation of some adverbs there are suppletive forms). Adverb хорошо gives a positive assessment to the action expressed by means of a verb, including its special forms, a verbal adverb and a participle. The adverb directly joins these words. Хорошо has a number of functional homonyms (a predicative in a personal and impersonal form, a particle, a modal word, category of an assessment). The only function of an adverb хорошо in the sentence — adverbial modifier. This unit is widely used in oral and written language, being a different part of speech in each case.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the biblical intertext and its functions in post-modernistic works. The paper presents the analysis of the novel "Underground, or a Hero of Our Time” by V. Makanin. Up until now biblical origin of the intertext in the works of the given author remained poorly studied. The carried out analysis allowed to reveal different forms of intertext (allusions, quotations, intermedial stylistic devices) and define their roles - standard moral values were put in doubt by the protagonist. Social world view is reviewed from the post-modernistic point of view: established moral ideals are being re-examined with acquisition of contemptuous and satirical hue. Intertext is also an effective means for creating character images. In addition, biblical allusions, enriching the piece of work, make it a crossword and at the same time bring joy of discovery and esthetic pleasure.

Abstract
This article discusses the structural and semantic features of etymological and word-forming word family with a dominant часть, that are presented in the various lexicographical sources. The units analysis demonstrates the impact of the semantic phenomenon of repulsion to dissociation of etymological word family into separate independent word-forming families. Revealing the inner form of the word helps to reconstruct in the modern Russian language a single etymological word family with a common root.

Abstract
The author considers idioms, that indicate time in the Russian language and compares them with the similar in Chinese. The author concludes that the majority of Russian phraseology, indicating time is based on metaphors. She examines metaphorical idioms presented in different dialectic dictionaries through five positions. These are: time "as a form of human life on the Earth”, "time the burden”, "time the boundary”, "time the living creature”, "time as a phenomenon that defines the favorable and unfavorable events”. From this point of view, the author considers a number of phraseological terms in both languages and concludes that the idioms with the value of "time” built on metaphor reflect philosophical understanding of time.

Abstract
This article analyzes the publications of the poet V. Borodayevsky at the beginning of the 20th century "On the tragedy of Christianity” and "On religious truth of Konstantin Leontyev.” Studied social and philosophical and religious teachings by prominent Russian philosopher, writer and journalist Leontyev had a significant influence on the personality of the poet V. Boro-daevsky who, when trying to establish the regularity of the evolution of views and way of life of Leontyev, to highlight the unity of his ideas, expressed his very original opinion in the "debate about the Christian culture.” However, Borodayevsky could not avoid controversy in the evaluation of K. Leontyev. Along with valuable, interesting and true in its essence thoughts and observations in the works of Borodayevsky, in our opinion, there is a number of controversial provisions. Little-known publications of Borodaevsky on K. Leontyev are, of course, important for understanding the distinctive heritage of the Russian philosopher and the inner world of the poet V. Borodayevsky.

Abstract
The article is devoted to one of the main magazine discussions of 1850s, i.e. the polemics about the national spirit, the principal participants of which were Moscow magazines "The Russian Colloquy” and "The Russian Messenger'. The purpose of the article is to define to what extent the polemics reflected a longstanding discussion between the Westernizers and the Slavophiles as well as to find out to what extent M. Katkov's magazine was allied to "The Russian Colloquy” with its Slavophile spirit. It was shown in the analysis of the opponents' articles that the approaches to the national spirit notion differed between the Westernizers and the Slavophiles. The analysis also revealed that the attitudes of the magazines to the national self-determination had much in common, as well as it confirmed the friendship between M. Katkov and the Slavophile magazine staff.

Abstract
The article describes the main types of typical for the works of Thomas Mann and Hermann Hesse image of the mentor (who not only has a direct impact on the main character of the novel, but also carries the independent importance for the construction of the plot, and finalizing the position of the author.) In addition to the self-importance of the study of the image for the perception of German literature of the 20th century, it is obvious that correlation with the image of the main character is very close, for him being a spokesman for the spiritual atmosphere of the time.

Abstract
The article considers the work of insufficiently known Russian writer of the late 18th - early 19th century Vasily Kolosov (1782 - 1857). On the example of the story "Walk around Simonov monastery” the author of the article shows the combination of different genres of sentimental novels, travel, idyll. The writer presented sentimental picture of history through different artistic means, and special attention is paid to characteristic of the writer's historicism. The paper analyzes the relation of V. Kolosov's story to the traditions of N. Karamzin's prose (story "Poor Liza”).
