In the article, the peculiarities of sign of the static/dynamic in constructions with the semantics of state are revealed. The author investigated the un-derstanding of the feature static/dynamic in Russian lin-guistic literature and its connections with other signs of the state. As a result of the analysis of structures with the semantics of the state, the author came to the conclu-sion that the predicate of state can be used to describe the dynamic situation. The nature of the manifestations of the static/dynamic was caused both by the semantic peculiarities of the predicate of state and means of its expression.

The article is devoted to the research of the process of explication means expansion in the actual fragment of Russian picture of the world - "Television" - in connection with increase in information in modern society, namely to entry into speech (texts) a word televizatsiya. The author investigates the meanings of this word which has arisen as a potential word in the 1st decade of 21st centuries, in a segment of the hypertext of the Internet - the Runet. The neologism meanings are interpreted taking into account contextual realization of its semantic options, the character of connotations and specifics of the estimated meaning is defined.

The author of the article focuses on the substantive metaphorical phrases used as a means of creating cityscape in the poetry of Silver Age. The ob-ject of the study were general linguistic, prevailing, and individual-author metaphors, their semantic models and dominant features in the text. The analysis of linguis-tic material led to the following conclusions: the origi-nal, author's metaphorical phrases dominate over the prevailing (common language, or universal poetical); images of the cityscape in the poetry of the Silver Age are, as a rule, «colorless» (color metaphors are rare) or sharply contrasting (in the landscape involved two dif-ferent colors); metaphors that shape the cityscape per-form major - graphic, encoding, covering, text-forming - functions.

The category of the relative tense is one of the syntactic categories which form the semi-predica-tion meaning of the detached constructions. The article reveals the ways to express the relative tense in de-tached constructions with imperfective adverbial partici-ples. The author considers the main temporal meanings typical for combinations with imperfective adverbial par-ticiples, as well as the ways to demonstrate such mean-ings. The article denotes the role of lexical-grammatical indicators of temporality reflecting the relative tense in these structures.

The article deals with the study of private meanings of imperative and conjunctive construction, of a process of interaction of modal and temporal seman-tics of forms of an unreal modality and other elements in Tsvetayeva's poetry. Forms of an imperative and a conjunctive are considered as language means of the distant periphery of a functional-semantic field of tem-porality

In the article, on the material of S. Dovlatov`s prose the word journalist is considered in the assessment of the units of predicate vocabulary. With the help of predicate characteristics the writer gives an assessment of professional and personal qualities of the journalists, outlines the features of a typical repre-sentative of the profession. In the lexical meaning of the studied units of predicate vocabulary actualized are the following components: 'skills', 'duty', 'generosity', 'cyni-cism', 'alcohol'. The author's evaluation of journalists and journalism, recorded in Dovlatov`s fiction, comple-ments the notion of the writer`s language personality.

This article discusses the use of tradi-tional commedia dell'arte masks in the works of Evgeny Chirikov, a major writer at the turn of the 19-20th cen-turies. Exploration of the dramatic work by E. Chirikov, written at the time of the Civil War, of the significant re-lationships between the main characters that match the traditional masks of Harlequin, Columbine and Pierrot, and the atmosphere of the time portrayed allow us to suggest a high artistic skill of the writer, who followed the theatrical traditions and made his most vivid con-tribution to the images of the characters at a complex historical time.

The system features of a poem by N. Gu-milev "Captains" can be correlated with the organization of a classical sonata that allows to understand the deep essence of poet's plan, philosophical sense of an image of the protagonist. In each of four parts of a poem neo-romantic pathos that opens change of a rhythm, meter, figurative system, original reminiscences, poetic associations is shown in an original way. The verse that concludes the poem takes the lyrical plot to a new level of generalization

The article describes the role and meaning of color in German Expressionists' works - Reinhard Sorge, Georg Kaiser and Ernst Toller. The use of pure, intense, contrasting colors in the symbolism and the plays image-system, remarks are within the framework of the expressionist aesthetics and related to the actualization of the mythological origins in drama. Contributing to the disclosure of the conflict and rhythm alignment of the play, color gets the conceptual meaning.

The article is dedicated to literary "cinematic look" as a key feature of Y. Tynianov's art work. The way the author is using literary cinematic techniques to depict the historical era is analyzed on the example of "Second lieutenant Kizhe". The following conclusion was made during the study: using the frame principle in text structure, "camera aiming of a camera", "splitting into scenes", the author shows the life, customs of a certain historical period in Russia, gives the ironical assessment of its events and peculiarities

The article deals with the problem of the literary mask formation as a process caused by the views of literary scientists. The author reveals features of a mask in Russian Preromanticism and separately stops on the creativity of the Kazan poet G. Kamenev. Then the author goes on to analyze the manifestations of the philosophical and psychological elements of mask in studies of E. Bobrov, the representative of the Kazan school of academic literary criticism. The author comes to the conclusion that the theory of literary masks organically related to the Bobrov`s ideological system and potentially served as a necessary component for the construction of an image of the writer in culture. Based on this, the author analyzes the views of the researcher on the writer and lists the main components of the Bobrov`s literary representations of Kamenev's mask.

This article is devoted to the appreciation of one of the most interesting representatives of Russian romanticism and literary criticism of 20th century - Ivan Kozlov. The paper presents different appraisals of his poetical creative work, poet`s activity as a translator, his personality and his role in literature of the 19th century. The publications in periodical editions of the 19th century, notes, literary critical articles, textbooks, monographs, thesis works were the material for this analysis. Special attention was paid to the problem of the moral ideal of Kozlov and its importance for the formation of readers' values. The author also studied the connection between ethical and aesthetical content of poet's creative work which defined the power of his influence on readers.

The article is devoted to the creativity of the representative of "unnoticed generation" in the context of the Russian literature of the 20th century. The author aspires to trace the character and degree of influence of an aesthetics of the Silver age on S. Sharshuna's poetics. Personal self-expression in crisis, borderline epoch as the purpose of their creativity is the research starting point. As a result of the carried analysis the author comes to conclusion that modernist trends of the beginning of the 20th century considerably affected the figurative structure and the genre nature of creativity of S. Sharshuna.
