Abstract
. One of the distinguishing features of the rhetorical statement as expressive syntactic unit is its subjective nature: the reflection of the emotional and mental sphere of the speaker, his system of values, attitudes towards himself and others. These qualities of the rhetorical statement explain the special attention to the speaker who acts also as the subject of the action, the subject of the state, the subject of the perception, the subject of the opinion and the subject of the evaluation. A rhetorical statement can have different ways of presenting the speaker: specialized verbal and pronominal forms; pronominal components “who” in negative or affirmative rhetorical statements that include the speaker; constructive and syntactic way in the infinitive rhetorical statements. Personal semantics of rhetorical statement, as well as other categories of predication, is characterized by its generality.
