Abstract
Aim. The article aims to determine the form of interaction between the author's perception of the world and the expression of the meaning of the text being created. Methodology. The study's main content is an analysis of two works by the author, the text of which is considered from two points - from the side of the language system and as a product of the author's speech. The attention is focused on the role of language units and structures in the semantic component of the text and the means of text-building and the creation of meanings. Results. As a result of the analytical work, it was concluded that text modality as a speech category, based on the act of communication and speech activities of the participants in the process, is related to the non-speech situation connected to the motive of speaking. Research implications. The practical significance of the work lies in the description of the reader's work to understand the author's idea and the linguist's activities, allowing to determine the means of expression of textual modality.

The research uses the following methods: linguistic observation and description, statistical calculation, and elements of component analysis. Results. As a result of the analysis of words with the root 'реб' it is established that the contexts of the studied novels reflect the traditional understanding of the Russian picture of the world of the considered units, which act as usual explicators of the concept of childhood. Research implications. The scientific novelty of the work is that the previously published articles did not analyze the semantics of words with the root 'реб' in the novels of F. Vigdorova. Abstract
Aim. The purpose of this article is to study Russian-French dictionaries of oil and gas terms and design a new Russian-French terminological dictionary of the oil and gas industry. Methodology. The paper provides an overview of Russian-French oil and gas glossaries and convincingly substantiates the need to create a new dictionary. The main stages of compiling a dictionary are described. The characteristic features of the lexicographic selection of terms in the dictionary are analyzed, and various ways of semantization are considered, with particular attention paid to the inclusion of new vocabulary that has not been included in such dictionaries. Results. The review of such dictionaries of oil and gas terms shows a complete absence of terms related to oil and gas transportation, which convincingly proves the inevitability of forming and creating a new dictionary. Currently, the Russian-French dictionary has been prepared and published. Research implications. The main advantage of the new dictionary is that for the first time, the dictionary includes a corpus of terminology for the construction of gas and oil pipelines, which is used in procedures, technical documentation, and contracts for the construction of pipelines. The practical significance of creating a new dictionary is to maximize the coverage of Russian and French terms, clarify the semantics of French terms, remove language difficulties for those interested in the oil and gas industry, technology transfer, and localization of knowledge.

Abstract
Aim. The article is devoted to the relevant and poorly studied in the modern linguistics problem of convergence of the linguistic and speech aspects of syntax. Its purpose is to analyze the compound verbal predicate in A. Bely's novel "Petersburg" in the text. Methodology. The methodology is an attempt to combine language and speech aspects. The source of speech facts is the artistic text, namely, compound verbal predicates selected from the text by continuous sampling. The material selected by the observation method is subjected to both qualitative and quantitative processing. Techniques of the descriptive method combined with elements of the comparative method lead to creating the article text as a result of the research. To achieve the goal and objectives of the work, a wide range of sources is involved, and the experimental novel "Petersburg" by A. Bely is chosen as the material for analysis. Special attention is paid not only to the structural and semantic characteristics of this type of predicate but also to the peculiarities of its functioning in the symbolist work that constructs the myth of St. Petersburg. Results. It is established that in the analyzed text, this construction shows all the properties of a compound verbal predicate; it is revealed that it does not belong to the number of frequency in work but appears as stylistically significant. The formal characteristic, role, and structural functions of this type of predicate are revealed in the main features. Research implications. The theoretical framework of the traditional predicate teaching is compared with the material obtained from the text, which allows us to clarify the ideas about the predicate in general and one of its types in particular, as well as to accumulate information about the syntax of the literary text (based on the material of the novel that reflected the realities of the Russian revolution). The scientific significance lies in the possibility to consolidate the materials obtained in the national corpus of the Russian language and use them in scientific works about the style of A. Bely. The results of the work can be used in the course of the Russian language syntax, as well as subjects related to the language and style of the writer.

Abstract
Aim. To actualize the category "equinox point" in the literary, scientific turnover, to analyze the works of L. Tolstoy "The Death of Ivan Ilyich" and M. Gorky "Blue Life". To reveal the relationship of the heroes-personalities' intentions at the "point of the equinox" with a noble deed and self-transcendence. Methodology. The primary method of work is a comparative analysis of works of art to determine the "equinox point" as an architectonically significant component of the structure. Since the heroes of the works being analyzed are subjects of the compositional structure, we can say that to understand the work's integrity and the role of the "equinox" in it, and we focus on dialogue as a method proposed by M. Bakhtin. Results. The interrelation of works is established in changing the narrative point of view and resolving the architectonic whole with the "equinox point." The "equinox point" is the boundary between character and personality, and from personality to character. The need for the hero-personality for self-transcendence is revealed. Research implications. The study confirms that the formation of meaning and self-transcendence is a necessary quality of the hero-personality. The generalization of the features of L. Tolstoy and M. Gorky, when they create the image of a hero-personality in the process of self-transcendence, allows us to conclude that the problem of overcoming an existential crisis was one of the most important issues at the turn of the late 19 - early 20th centuries, its solution is proposed through the maximum rapprochement of the hero and the reader through the "point of view" and improperly direct speech; which in turn allows us to speak of dialogue as a method of artistic reflection of the inner world of a work. This study makes it possible to draw a parallel between the creative activities of Russian literature's classics.
