Abstract

Memories of Professor N. Kondrashov immerse into the atmosphere of the social and cultural life of the country in the late 1980s - early 1990s, talk about the philological life of the time and draw a living portrait of the Slavist through the eyes of a post-graduate. The figure of the famous linguist is shown from an unusual side: as a teacher of a rare gift, a man of strict, strong-willed character, wise and ironic, who had the most comprehensive knowledge in the history of linguistic sciences.
