Ведущие лейтмотивы в американской литературе колониального периода
Аннотация
статье рассматриваются различные точки зрения на период возник- новения американской литературы и ана- лизируются ведущие лейтмотивы в ранних произведениях колониального периода - пре- допределение, избранность и трудолюбие. Основной акцент ставится на интерпретации каждого из перечисленных лейтмотивов в работах ведущих литераторов американской словесности XVII века The article deals with the different points of view on the problem when prenational literature appeared in America. The leading leitmotifs - providence, worthiness, industry - which one can come across in the early colonial works are subjected to analysis. The main accent is laid upon the interpretation of each of the mentioned above motifs in the way they are presented in the leading works of the colonial authors.
