Gogol and Dostoevsky: temptation in the image

Abstract

Article reveals the commonality
and uniqueness of poetics of Gogol and Dostoevsky.
Object of study is the shaped structure
of two authors, artistic design and method of
its implementation in the imagery. Related to
this is the basic category of poetics: type of art
method - Christian realism of Dostoevsky and
magic realism of Gogol, their unity and differ
ence in the ways of reflecting and summarizing
the reality.
