THE PROBLEM OF DISTANCE "WRITER-CHILD" IN PEDAGOGICAL CONTROVERSY OF THE 60-70S IN THE 19TH CENTURY: ANTONOVICH, USHINSKIY, TOLSTOY

Abstract

The 60-70 years of the 19th century were
marked by the awareness of childrens literature as a
distinct type of literature. Many problems were revealed,
in particular, the problem of distance, which should or
should not be between the author and the child as recipient,
for the stories to get the desired response from an
audience of children. This article presents refl ections on
this subject of Antonovich and Tolstoy, who couldnt accept
Ushinskiys approach. The work also makes a step
toward understanding how Tolstoys views on pedagogy
infl uenced his literary work.
