SYNTACTIC COMIC MEANS IN VICTOR DRAGUNSKY’S “THE Adventures OF DENNIS”

Abstract

Purpose. The main content of this study is to analyze the specific use of syntactic techniques from the examples of "The Adventures of Dennis" by V. Dragunsky and to identify their types and functions in comic expressions. Methodology and Approach. The analysis shows that at the syntax level, the comic techniques are incredibly diverse. Results. In addition to the cases for humorous purposes, they also play an essential role in conveying the emotions of heroes, creating character images, enhancing expressiveness, and shaping the composition of the work. So, at last, the author presents the syntactic aspect of the comic phenomena as a new approach to the study of the works of V. Dragunsky. Theoretical and / or Practical Implications. The article fills the gap in the study of syntactic comic means in V. Dragunsky's works. Materials and conclusions of the study can find application in the further study of the writer's works, in scientific studies of the comic theories, they can also be used in training courses on Russian children's literature.
