Textual Group Method in the Bottom-Up Analysis of Textuality

Abstract
Aim. To formulate the concept of textual groups and justify the feasibility of applying the textual group bottom-up method in the analysis of textuality.
Methodology. The article considers possible approaches to analysis of textual relations, it highlights basic categories of textuality – order, cohesion, coherence. It is proposed to consider as a tool for textual analysis an arbitrary set of sentences called the textual group.
Results. The article has formulated the textual group definition and developed a system of typology of textual groups.
Research implications. The work contributes to the development of the theory of textual relations and provides an algorithm for analyzing textual relations.
