INFLUENCE OF ONTOLOGICAL CATEGORY ON THE POSSIBILITY OF USE OF BARE INDEFINITES (INDEFINITE PRONOUNS WITHOUT INDEFINITENESS MARKERS)

Abstract

The paper provides some results of the research of indefinites that have no
indefiniteness markers and look like interrogative or relative pronouns in the
same language.
In this paper it is proved that ontological category, to which a bare indefinite
pronoun belongs, has an influence on possibility of use of this pronoun along with
a given semantic-syntactic context. The data arise from a corpus analysis of the
Russian language.
