ON PRAGMATIC AND COMMUNICATIVE POWER OF CRITICAL JUDGMENT UTTERANCE IN INTERPERSONAL BUSINESS INTERACTION
Abstract
business verbal interaction: an outline of typical tactical moves is supplied;
a proper assessment of the latter is provided concerning speech aggression
as present or absent in specified tactical speech moves; diffuseness of illocutionary
power of actual speech expression, containing criticism, as cooperative or
vice versa clashing is demonstrated with regard to samples of authentic business
discourse in Russian; as a result of investigation an ideal model of a positive (that
is constructive) critical judgment utterance is described in terms of contrastive
oppositions.
