"The Great Gatsby", a novel of F. Fitzgerald, revealing the paradoxes of the american dream

Abstract

The following article is dealing
with the problems of definition and understanding
of such concept as American dream and
its interpretation in the American literature.
The article is also undertaking an attempt to reveal
the paradox of American dream in relation
to the results of its practical realization by the
protagonist of Francis Scott Fitzgeralds novel
The Great Gatsby.
