ORPHAN THEME IN THE POEM OF M. LERMONTOV MTSYRI (THE NOVICE) (ON THE FINAL RESULTS OF THE POETS CREATIVE WORK)
Abstract
The article deals with the works of M. Lermontov
- Mtsyri, Demon, A Hero of Our Time as the fi nal ones;
they are represented as a result of the whole creative work
of the writer during his lifetime, and are studied along with M.
Lermontovs last letters. The religious orphan theme echoed
with a very special artistic expression in his poem Mtsyri
(The Novice) as well as in the previous ones: Confession,
Boyar Orsha. By studying primarily the worldview of the
Russian genius, the author of the article comes to the conclusion
about Lermantovs manifest of the Christian fundamental
ethics.
