REGULATIVE REQUEST AS THE TYPE OF DIRECTIVE ACTS

Abstract

This article characterizes the regulative directive
acts, determines the communicative roles of the interlocutors,
identifi es the characteristics of regulative request as the type
of directive acts: benefactiveness of stimulated action is
directed at all members of the group, non-obligatoriness of the
implementation of the stimulated action, the inclusion of the
vocabulary with the request semantics into the utterance. This
article also reveals the linguistic means, that are characteristic
of the regulative request, and justifi es the principal function of
these types of inducement - the function of infl uence.
