В данной статье проводится комплексный анализ художественного наследия позднего творчества Редьярда Киплинга в контексте художественных тенденций современного литературоведческого дискурса. Предпринимается попытка выявить специфику трансформации идиостиля позднего Редьярда Киплинга, определить тематику его поздних работ, а также проанализировать художественное наследие писателя не только с позиции литературоведения и лингвистики, но философии и психологии. Кроме этого, обнаруживаются типичный для автора мифотворческий характер мышления и ставший центральным в его литературной биографии религиозный мотив.
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the heritage of the late Rudyard Kipling’s works in the context of artistic trends of contemporary literary discourse. An attempt is made to reveal the specificity of late Rudyard Kipling’s idiostyle transformation and the subject matter of his late works. The research is also focused on consideration of the artistic heritage of the writer not only from the perspective of literary criticism and linguistics, but the philosophy and psychology. Besides, the mythopoetic character of thinking and central in his literary biography religious motif are revealed.
