Статья посвящена средствам выражения субъективно-модальных значений в современном газетном тексте. Показана взаимосвязь использования модальных операторов и специфики газетной коммуникации, характеризующейся усилением оценочности, субъективизацией, демократизацией языка. В числе наиболее продуктивных модальных средств исследован риторический блок - проводник контактоустанавливающей, логической, а также отрицательной эмоционально-оценочной модальности в медиадискурсе.
The subject of the article -subjective modality of press, different modal meanings of newspaper text. The different operators of modality in press are shown. There are rhetorical units, which express different modal meanings, negative emotions of journalist. The connection of subjective modality and type of communication is explained. The functions of rhetorical units are developing the dialogue, activation of attention of the recipient.
