Цель. Рассмотреть предметный мир романа М. М. Хераскова «Нума…» в контексте аллегорического представления историософской концепции судьбы «золотого века» в развитии человечества с учётом философско-исторического содержания и аллегорического «сюжета» книги.

Процедура и методы

Процедура и методы. Для анализа используются элементы культурно-исторического, историко-генетического, сравнительно-типологического, феноменологического, герменевтического, структурно-семиотического методов. Анализ романа Хераскова «Нума…» проводится в контексте развития западноевропейских и русских «государственных», «политико-утопических» романов XVIII в., с учётом своеобразия романной поэтики в нормативно-традиционалистскую эпоху.

Результаты

Результаты. Итогом проведённых исследований стала возможность соединить философско-историческую концепцию Хераскова, базирующуюся на идее «Золотого века» и его судьбы в развитии человечества, и основных структурных уровней книги, в первую очередь её предметного начала. Проведённый анализ позволил понять, каким образом функционирует предметная деталь в тексте, жанровое задание которого не предусматривает изобразительности, а также уточнить представления о развитии российского политико-дидактического, масонского романа XVIII в.

Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Показан потенциал предметной сферы в русской дидактико-аллегорической прозе XVIII в., а также пути развития романной прозы М. М. Хераскова. Результаты статьи могут использоваться в дальнейших исследовательских разработках развития масонской прозы той поры, в курсах русской литературы XVIII в., а также спецкурсах смежной тематики.

Aim

Aim. To examine the objective world in M. M. Kheraskov’s novel “Numa...”, allegorically presenting historiosophical concept of the fate of the “Golden Age” in the development of humanity, considering the philosophical and historical content and allegorical “plot” of the book.

Methodology

Methodology. Elements of cultural-historical, historical-genetic, comparative-typological, phenomenological, hermeneutic, structural-semiotic methods are used in the analysis; it is carried out in the context of the development of Western European and Russian “state”, “political-utopian” novels of the 18th century, considering the uniqueness of novel poetics in the normative-traditionalist era.

Results

Results. The result of the conducted research is a connection of the philosophical and historical concept of Kheraskov, based on the idea of the “Golden Age” and its fate in the development of mankind, and the main structural levels of the book, primarily its subject matter. The conducted analysis makes it possible to understand how the subject detail functions in the text, the genre assignment of which does not provide for pictoriality, and to clarify the ideas about the development of the Russian political and didactic, Masonic novel of the 18th century.

Research implications

Research implications. The potential of the subject area in Russian didactic-allegorical prose of the 18th century, as well as the development paths of M. M. Kheraskov’s novel prose, has been shown. The results of the article can be used in further research developments of Masonic prose of that time, in courses of Russian literature of the 18th century, as well as special courses on related topics
