Отношения частичной конкретизации противопоставлены отношениям полной конкретизации. Частичная конкретизация осуществляет раскрытие лишь части того, что могло быть передано однородными компонентами конструкции. Она осуществляется путём выделения главного и большинства, особенного, частного, включения, исключения и др. Эти значения выражаются также при осложнении членов предложения, в том числе одного из однородных, что свидетельствует об их внутренней связи. В системе синтаксиса целесообразно рассматривать их в рамках категорий конкретизации, однородных членов предложения и членов предложения.
Relations of partial specification are opposed to relations of complete specification. Partial specification realizes the exposure of only a part of what could be reproduced by the homogeneous components of a construction.
